    I put in a 10 day spread for may and got a quote for a 26+ year old drive

    cheapest car was -

    Normal Rate $23.4- Discount 5% off
    10 Days @ $22.23 (per day) $222.30
    Registration Recovery Fee $38.00
    Administration Fee $13.02
    TOTAL ESTIMATE: AUD $273.32

    people have said that some CC's cover the ridiculous excess required for insurance(?) you should research it.

  ok, thanks for that , I know some Co's make a hold of $3300 on the CC then you got to get it back
  er.. 2001 -2003 models for hiring could be a bit old

  I ended up booking with I- Rentals a 2012 Hyundai Elantra for $38 cruise/auto [inc all fees]
  too many want you to drop car off -put keys in glovebox & never see a human
  That's not for me .. someone could run a key around every panel & who's CC gets hit ?
  I -Rentals will take delivery by a person & only charge $200 hold on CC ,but are changing in mid year
  as they been left with damaged cars & no money in the renters card
  [as told by manager Martin to me]
