I'm sorry but Street fighter has horrid screen rate issues especially in 3D.

It also has ridiculous omissions such as no moving backgrounds to almost none at a all.

How much of it is terrible hardware and how much is software is up to you to decide.

I haven't seen any discussion in that area. Looking forward to trying it.

Looks like their PR Manager has caught onto us.

  • Streetfighter IV is actually really good on 3DS, as long as you play in 2D (which I find myself doing with most games now, anyway). Way better than trying to play it on iPhone. ;-)
As for the Harvey Norman site; anyone else having issues trying to get it to actually work the way a website should?
Clicking 'Add to cart' doesn't seem to add it to my cart. Unless I try Pilotwings, which works but it also then tells me it's out of stock.
Just my browser, or is the site broken?

    • Okay, looks like DoA is out of stock. Pity, that's a great game.

    • Yeah, I can't get anything in the cart either. Just reload the current page/

did anyone manage to buy these?

  • Street Fighter and Dead Or Alive are out of stock.
    Other 2 are still selling.

I didn't think the top 2 would last long. Congrats to those who got 'em early.

  • Steel Diver will be free to play from March 2014. Waste of money even at $10.

    • from the article:

The exact business model of this first free-to-play title is yet to be decided, and Nintendo is considering either using some sort of membership or micro-transaction type of fee in order to play other elements of the game. However, Miyamoto was quick to say Nintendo is looking to balance the entertainment value with various pricing models and hopes to bring more information soon.

      physical copies for the win

  • I ordered a few things and have received some parts of my order in Harvey Norman "send-in-many-separate-packages" fashion. However, I'm still waiting on the prize games (Street Fighter and Dead Or Alive). I hope they come soon.

  • I received my Dead Or Alive copies (from Harvey Norman Corio). I bought 2 copies.

Both are not sealed and both have scratches on the cases. The Harvey Norman person who attempted to remove the stickers has just added depressions in the paper/plastic of the front cover too. Since the 3DS cases have square holes in the plastic (front and rear), pressing down when taking the stickers off has pushed the paper (and transparent plastic covering it) in. Not a good look for a 'new' product.

I'm not super-impressed with this. I'm still waiting on my Street Fighter copies and I hope they are sealed and in better nick. But I am not expecting it.

The game cartridges themselves appear to be in good physical condition though I haven't tried them yet. Bottom-line: the game cases don't look new in the condition I received them.
