Pioneer System Upgrade with TS-A1605c Splits TS-A1675S 3 Ways GM-A4604 4 Channel + Kit $279 Shpd

50

THIS IS A FULL PIONEER SYSTEM PACK, WITH 1 x TS-A1605C + 1 x TS-A1675S + 1 x GM-A4604 + 1 x SONY 4 CHANNEL KIT

Plays loud and clear

Many people never think to upgrade their car's audio system, suffering with subpar sound when they listen to music. Pioneer's GM-A4604 4-channel amplifier will greatly improve the sound quality in your x130gma4604-o-front.jpgvehicle, so you'll look forward to spending time on the road. This punchy Pioneer amp will power your front and rear speakers with 40 watts RMS each, which is a huge jump over the power supplied by your car radio. You'll hear more of the little details in your music, even when you turn your system up to compete with the road noise.
Practical features

You can also put this versatile amp into 2-channel mode to send up to 120 watts RMS each to a couple of component speakers or subwoofers. Switchable 80 Hz high- and low-pass filters on the A channels help take the rumble away from full-range speakers or the sizzle away from a sub. The B channels sport variable high-and low-pass filters so you can better adjust the sound for critical front soundstaging or a finely-tuned bass. Speaker-level inputs allow you to add the GM-A4604 to a factory radio. This amp's performance features and reasonable price make it a great choice for almost any vehicle needing a sonic upgrade.
Get more out of your music

Are your car's factory speakers sounding less than fresh? Pioneer built their A-Series speakers to be high-performance replacements for your old speakers, designed from the ground up to bring back the life that your music's been missing. You'll be able to enjoy the clear vocals, chunky guitar riffs, powerful drums, and distinct bass lines that have always been a part of your favorite tunes, but have remained hidden behind sub-par speakers.
Built to make your music rock
Side-view of the Pioneer TS-A1605C woofer

The woofer will add depth and impact to your favorite tunes.

Pioneer equipped the TS-A1605C component speaker system & TS-1675S Coaxial speaker systems with multilayer 6-5" mica-matrix woofers that stay rigid when the volume's turned up, keeping distortion to a minimum so your bass sounds clean. Install the separate 3/4" tweeters for the TS-A1605C in a good spot up high in your vehicle for better stereo imaging. The system also includes 2-way outboard crossovers, a step up from the inline tweeter high-pass filters usually found in systems in this price range.

These speakers will sound great running off your factory stereo, but they'll really shine when driven by an aftermarket receiver or an external amp. Don't drive another day listening to tired-sounding tunes, when you can enjoy Pioneer sound quality with these speakers in your vehicle.

If I had my own car, I buy this in a shot great price OP, be sure to emphasize how much better any amp sounds in a car, even if the numbers suggest its quieter.
(RMS numbers in headsets are, frankly bullcrap)

    • Hi Bleugh !

i know what you mean most aftermarket head units put our around 8-12 RMS per channel, some of the top end ones get up to around 16rms per channel but most factory head units only put out around 7 - 10 RMS per channel so its not a stretch to say that this system is 4 times more powerful than most factory systems ( when considering speaker sensitivity and wattage input), but at the end of the day they need something to measure against, and RMS is the only thing that is (semi) standardized if they are using CEA 2006 ratings ( these are actually tested by a third party and rated at actual output)

at the end of the day we just are here to show customers whats possible even on a budget and try to work out the best system of their cars !

thanks again for the message and have an awesome week !!

Watts RMS numbers for head units are correct, it's the Watts max figures that are fudged.

  • Does anyone have a good guide I can read on sound systems? I want to upgrade my car but I am a complete newbie. No idea what all these components do and what all these numbers mean.

If you want to take it to the next level

    • What car do you have? Asking on XeSSiV behalf.

      • thanks for pointing me in the right direction mat :)

just a 98 civic. Its my learning car. Came with an existing sound system but I want to upgrade it as a learning process.

        • Generally, it's considered smart to upgrade in the following steps (if you don't have time/budget to go all out at once);
          - amp
          - fronts
          - sub
          - rears

A good amp will clean up the sound and make anything perform a bit better. Fronts are the most listened to whilst driving and you'll notice the highs when improved. A sub adds punch and the rears are just filler - I ran my last car without rears for ages and barely noticed.

        • +1

          Really?
You would put an amp in before anything else… if there is nothing to amp it aint gonna work
The way i did and would recommend would be:
          -Headunit
-Fronts (and rears if you want)
-Sub & Amp (for both sub and fronts)

        • Both answers are correct as ryang assumed [as I did] that there was an aftermarket deck in there already.
If there's no deck, then obviously that would be the number one priority, as shown on your list :)

        • Hahah yeah… Head units are a given really, first thing to replace and in modern cars the easiest! Usually..

And yeh, I'd amp the inbuilt speakers first, a better, cleaner source with more power can surprise you. Don't assume factory speakers are garbage!

        • After some reading I took a look at what I have so far.
The components I recognise I currently have are:
          - headunit
          - amp
          - sub
          - tweeters

Not too sure if my speakers have been upgraded as I haven't looked into how to remove my speaker covers.

First thing I'm changing is my headunit. My brother gave me his old one before he upgraded. He told me to install it because it has newer features (usb, bluetooth)
I've googled up the wiring diagram for my car and looked at a few tutorials. Im quite confident as all I have to do is match wires according to the diagram.

One thing I am uncertain of though. It seems that a special tool is required to remove my existing head unit. What can I use if I dont have the tool?

        • I thought it would be a normal screw that you can remove with a Phillips head.

  • Hey rep,
How long will this deal be on?
Been looking at upgrading my sound system and this is an absolute steal!

    • HI Cswards !

we have this running for a week ( or until we sell out) we have had a huge response on this deal today but we have about 20 packs left at this price as it stands !

i hope this helps, and have an awesome day !!

      JP

  • This is a great price for what you get
The amp is very good for starting out - wouldn't put a sub on it though

s2purple what car have you got?

  • +3

This is an ok deal, provided you set expectations on it & have time and experience to install. The speakers wont be 4x louder or better quality then most stock systems. It will still lack alot of bass and required correct installation to get the most out of. Installing an Amp correctly is not for rookies and in most cars you will probably need to make some modifications to your car to make it all fit. For example some cars come with 5 1/4 speakers therefore these will not fit straight in. So just keep all that in mind before you think its a simple switch and replace. my 2 cents.

  • the heading is

so in the pack we get
    1 x TS-A1605C
    1 x TS-A1675S

    ?

2 speakers and 4 amps? or is it meant to be 2 x TS-A1605C, 2 x TS-A1675S and an amp. 2 front speakers and 2 rears? Im new to this.

    • HI dragong87!

  • Hi OP,

first time I've seen your store, wondering if you can help.

I'm chasing a single DIN head unit, don't need CD slot but I do want the best bluetooth setup so I want the best value head unit with good bluetooth.

So first question is if bluetooth standard v3.0 is better then V2.0 in a headunit?

What would you recommend and as the best value bluetooth head unit?
oh also how do u keep steering wheel control capabilities?

    Thanks!!!

    • +1

Pac controller to keep your wheel controls. JB have them for about $150, but you can get them from Amazon for about $55-60 delivered.

    • HI,

Before making a decision on how each version of Bluetooth will affect your using experience I would suggest that you have a quick read of the below link with outlines the basic differences between the versions

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth#Bluetooth_v2.0_.2B_ED…
      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth#Bluetooth_v3.0_.2B_HS

if you are looking for a “future Proof” ( as much as you can get one to be) solution than I would suggest the V3.0

      many thanks !

      JP

      • thanks for the reply! I saw a couple of your head units have bluetooth 3.0 which one would you recommend so I can buy now! :D

        • HI hunterofbargains !

the best unit that we have in stock that i can recommend with Bluetooth 3.0 would be the high level CDA-137EBT which is the unit that i run in my personal i find it to be a stand out unit in the market at the moment

          http://www.supercheapeverything.com/alpine-cda-137ebt-blueto…

if you have a look over the link that have put above you can see exactly what i mean, the features you find on this unit and its ease of use makes it my number 1 pick in source units at this point in time.

          i hope this helps !

  • Hi Rep,

I'm a complete novice when it comes to this stuff but I'd like to upgrade the sound system in my 2009 VE Commodore. Does this kit come with everything I'd need, speaker cables, brackets etc? Would this kit fit in my car? I'd like to keep the stock head unit. Also what would an installer charge ballpark to put all this in?

    Thanks

    • +1

You would need a LOC (line output converter) to connect to the standard head unit speaker wires which then converts the signal down to RCA level so you can connect to aftermarket amplifiers.

Speakers generally come with speaker cable but it's quite thin, it'll work fine though. Many people buy larger speaker cable as they see the supplied cable as too thin.

All of those speakers should fit in a VE fine.

The amplifier would need to be mounted properly, so brackets or a mounting board would need to be made.

  • Hi Rep,

I really want to upgrade my car audio so please advise, does this system can be installed on honda accord 2012 based model? (without removing off the original sound system)

    • Typically speakers are replaced, to install it without removing the old unit would require finding somewhere for the speakers, either floating around on the floor or cutting and mounting somewhere else, neither are advised. Replace the existing or nothing at all. Also side note, many new cars have immobilisers built into the head unit, meaning its difficult to replace them.

      • HI superjv11 !

with any installation both ourselves and the manufactures recommend seeking professional installation of any products, incorrect installation of products can do serious damage to your car.

if you are unsure of who would be a good person to speak to in your area please dont hesitate to PM us and we will gladly point you in the right direction !

thanks and have an awesome day !!
