(Near) complete aside. Since Ben & Jerrys pricing was mentioned in the OP is there a policy for stockists never to have it on sale? It always seems to be around $12-14 (triple quadruple O/S in UK and US, where stockists do have them on specials)
I'm not sure, but I'm almost certain this type of policy would be illegal (although IANAL). Generally, the only time they could deny supply to a reseller based on the price would be if they were selling below cost.
