Jasmine rice in any brand at Coles/Woolies is always expensive. This is a champion price for this particular kind of rice.
nowadays I find it hard to find decent Thai jasmine rice with less than $2 per kg unless I go like 25kg. last week, I managed to nab 8kg of sun rice Brown rice at about $1.7 per kg, also at Coles.
I can't even find a decent jasmine rice here.
Sunrice jasmine rice is tasteless. Hate to say this, but nothing beats good Thai jasmine rice

The linked image shows that the packaging says "Australian Jasmine Fragrant Rice", with "Proudly Australian Grown" in the bottom left, so I'd say so.

I like this rice, has anyone find better jasimine rice in Australia? I havent, they almost same or worse than sunrice. good jasmine rice way better than those selling here.
I buy Sunrice jasmine 20kg $25 from my local fruit shop.
Any rice over $1 per kg is no deal to me
