Bon-Bons are the biggest waste of money. Cost a fortune and all you get inside is a bad joke, stupid hat that breaks as soon as you put in on your head and a 10c chinese plastic toy. Well for $1 for a ten-pack they are almost passable and you can use them in Christmas 2014. Whilst you have to dish out the $1 and be out of pocket for a year, it does represent a 600% return on investment for that $1 compare to buying the bon-bons before next Christmas. And instead of whinging about how much a waste of money they are, you can brag about taking advantage of the best investment opportunity of 2014 in true Ozbargainer style !

This is going to make me really rich in runescape
Positive for the post. Made me smile.
I also got next years Christmas tree for $10 (down from $45), christmas napkins and tablecloths for 50c per pack, christmas cards for 50c per box. I reckon storing this crap for a year has saved me $100+. Should be able to buy some good cleanskin wine and food with that money for all the relatives that will visit !
P.S. the kids have been eating $0.35c per pack woolworths christmas fruit mince pies every day for afternoon tea and loving them !
this sounds like a great deal, but you have to be aware of the consequences.
One year later, today's biting, clever, latest-release jokes that are inside these crackers will be old and over-used by the time they get read in December 2014.
What happens if there is something inside it like food. o_O? I remember some bon-bons I got last year were filled with chocolates and sweets.
As these are Chinese, I wouldn't be eating anything out of them . Theres no food in them as the back of the box shows the crappy toys you get inside. At least they're honest about it.
Well then, one year later, the surprise inside might be ants!
I wouldn't say they cost a fortune, they're for fun and are a luxury, not a necessity.
Unless you have somewhere to store these then they're not worth the hassle of holding onto.
