NetComm Wireless Extender/Bridge NP124 for $77 + Delivery (Melb $5.50) or Free Delivery > $200

40

RRP on Netcomm site is $99 - saving approx $49 dollars on RRP.

Netcomm NP124 Wireless Extender or Bridge for $50.16 pick up or + delivery.

Great when you need a permanent connection near the TV or a WIFI dead spot.
(ie. those that have an Wired Internet TV or a TVpad)

Officeworks selling for $89 so still a substantial saving from a Brick and Mortar store.

EStore is clearing them out. It's the cheapest I've seen them for.
Delivery to Melbourne is only $5.50 which is pretty reasonable.

They also have other clearance items at the moment.

  • Would something like this add additional ping to my connection? I need something like this, as my gaming PC drops out sometimes, but I don't want to add much ping.

    • this device would almost certainly not increase your ping by an immeasurable amount

      • Is this really what you want to say?

      • Not even sure what this sentence means ಠ_ಠ

  • Perhaps by a 'measurable amount!'

  • +1

I think that it is $77 (+ postage). Searching the model number has 2 results.. one is the clearance.. but you add to cart and it says "Out of Stock"… the other is $77..

  • Since the price has been changed to $77 this is definitely not a deal as plenty of retailers have it for less than $70.

  • Bought one last night. Looks like they jacked up the price now.

  • I have one of these. I do not think it has gigabit ports, actually. The spec may be incorrect on the website.
It has been rock solid, but required a firmware flash and configuration change to be able to support wireless n above 54mbps.
It is not too useful to have gigabit or 300mbps 'n' if the thing cannot surpass 200mbps.

  • As an alternative if you are just wanting to boost Wifi signals this may be an option for $54.40 http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Net…
Does anyone have experience with the reliability of this unit?
