"anywhere"??? It has a trigger nozzle and it's a "high pressure cleaner" so I'm sure it can be legally used in many situations under permanent water use rules(vic), water wise rules(nsw) etc.

    • +5

Not sure how you came to that conclusion, a lot of areas don't have 'water restrictions' anymore and the new rules are a lot more relaxed.
And then if you have a tank like a lot of people you can do whatever you want with that stored water.

Bah I was hoping for a high pressure washer to use ON kids.

    • +1

I'm sure the kids will just use it on each other lol

    • Ye, misleading advertising.

    • +4

But all descriptions state 'non-powered' and garden hose strength… Neg vote because you didn't read the box?

      • +4

It does say 'High-Pressure Cleaner'. To me that would imply it's higher strength than from the tap.

    • +3

Are you telling me there wasn't one thing about the product, its name or price that didn't indicate it wasn't a an actual high pressure cleaner?

      Wow.

      • +7

its name or price that didn't indicate it wasn't a an actual high pressure cleaner?

The front of the packaging says High-Pressure Cleaner. A reasonable person would assume that means that it is a "High-Pressure Cleaner"…

        • +2

          I disagree.

I think a reasonable person may make enquiries as to whether its suitable for adult purposes before purchasing after seeing

"for kids" in multi coloured squiggly font,
the picture of the toddler on the front smiling as he uses it,
          safe for ages 3+
          the actual price

Clearly a toy (albeit a terrible one and probably why its on special) designed to emulate one of the toys in daddys shed/workshop.

          maybe its just me…

Same situation. I bought this John Deere Lawn Mower. It couldn't cut a stick of butter! There wasn't even a place to add petrol even though it kept telling me to fill up!!

    • It's a good thing your misunderstanding saved your kids from possible eye and ear damage then isn't it! Who in their right mind would give a child a high pressure washer.

  • +1

    edit - wrong place!

  • A lot of these kids products are misleading. My kid bought a Knex set the other day and the box had loads of pictures of all the things it could do but in reality it could only do 1 of the functions, all the other pictures were of other sets so the function it did do he was disappointed with.

A $4 hose attachment with the 'jet' option will work better, don't start your child's upbringing with lies.

  • +3

Just got it price matched at Bunnings. $11.69 after 10% price beat policy.

    • Well done! ( I can't believe it hahaha)

Please don't try to wash your car with this (O)

      Have a nice day

      • The kids will have a laugh with this I hope.

      Docket or it didn't happen.

      • It happened, bite me. If anyone genuinely wants the docket for a price match then message me about it. Wouldn't want any old ass hat getting hold of it.

  • as it is non powered, is it just the same as the spray nozzle at the end of a hose?
