not worthy of neg though. not everyone needs/wants a smartphone that drains within the day.
What do you expect for $29? perpaid?
I think its what a Mermaid is called by someone with a speech impediment.
Web Therapist, or The Web Rapist?
Web Therapist actually ;)
This username always reminds me of this:
They might not be as good as Iphones but then they aren't the same price either.
Thecrevis if you know a better price or a better phone for the price then post it.
They have bluetooth as well.. might be good if you unlock it from Telstra.
These have been $29 for a long time. I bought the Qwerty-touch model, and it's ok for call/text (though the call quality isn't great). There's not much free storage (~100MB) or RAM (~60MB free or so), so don't expect to do much with it.
There is Bluetooth and GPS, however, so it will work with Google Maps or City Maps 2 Go (Pro) for finding out where you are, etc.
The screen is only 320 x 240 pixels, and at 2.6", the pixel density isn't great (it doesn't look sharp at all - in fact, a bit blurry).
Still, for $29, and $10 credit (that lasts for 14 days, not rollover-able), it's great value, as what you're essentially paying is $19 for a locked phone that has more features that any Nokia feature phone that costs more.
EDIT: I haven't figured out how to delete home screens that you don't need.
These really aren't great phones.
