I think I've only actually put one deal forward onto this website. I didn't feel the need to use that phrase.
Yet there seem to be so many "first posters" who use it. As soon as I see it, I read between the lines that it isn't actually a good deal, and the person who is posting is merely trying to promote his/her product.
Not to have a go at the poster, but Shoppingsquare is shirking the truth by indicating an RRP of $900 for a P4 in 2009. What a joke! Maybe this is worth $400…. maybe.
I also agree the "please be nice" phrase is done to death.
I guess this is one time I can't complain about ShoppingSquares excessive shipping costs, I suppose shipping a full system does cost some money. I still don't like them and it'd take a bargain of the century for me to shop with them. Neither +1 nor -1 from me on this one.
What a rip off. I'v seen about a dozen similar machines go off for about half the price on ebay today.

Good deal.. I work with these computers daily and they are quite reliable. The GX620 is very nice, ability to boot from USB, PXE etc..
The P4 3.0GHZ should be hyper-threaded and use Socket 775 so there is some small room for upgrades. Though you're not buying this to upgrade it really!
Mobo will happily take generic DDR2 RAM - I've put 4GB in these machines and it doesn't complain. Only runs at 533 or 667 though and not the faster 800.
If the monitor is the UltraSharp the stand is nice too and you can rotate, pivot and tilt the screen. So for $349 delivered.. this is an ideal computer for beginners, kids, parents, or just anyone who wants a reliable computer.
