  • Specs aren't as good as the Acer Iconia A1-810. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/acer-iconia-a1-810

That seems rather harsh. While it doesn't have as much RAM as the Iconia, it matches or beats the Iconia in all the other specs. For example, the Iconia doesn't have ANY camera and is unusable for video chat, this tablet has both front and back cameras.

Acer Iconia specs here, see for yourself: http://www.acer.com.au/ac/en/AU/content/model/NT.L1CSA.001

Iconia A1-810 does have front and back cameras.

        • If so, I stand corrected. Strange that Acer don't consider it worthy of a mention in their spec sheet. Do you have one?

My other comment, that this tablet matches or exceeds the Iconia spec in everything except RAM, still stands.

        • ram is about the most important thing!

you'll find apps that dont run on 512mb… acer vs. no name… yeah that says it all

        • Yes, I have the A1-810, it has 0.3MP front & 5MP rear cameras, I think it's too ordinary that they don't bother to mention.

        • The acer has a Quad core proccesor which is two more cores then the cheapo
the acer has the same resolution screen.
th acer blows the cheapo out of the water.

          Ram makes a Huge difference.

      • How many core(s) does deal's CPU have?

  • Ram makes it a no from me, 512MB doesn't seem to be cutting it now. Not to mention the price for a no-name. Plus you can get 7" from Ainol with 1GB for about the same price, not to mention how Sony/Acer have been throwing away tablets lately

    • yeah min must be 1 gig to make it worthwhile

I think Nexus 7 refurb with warranty is better at this price point.

Back in stock, would be worth a look at the same price.

    • According to some on here, an extra inch in real estate is more important then superior hardware…

  • Gees even my old Motorola Zoom has 1 gig ram and yer I think thats barely enough.. it does seem strange to only have 512mb.
