Killzone was a disappointment. For $50 is probably ok.
Wish more people played Blacklight. Seems to be a fun f2p FPS, although theres alot of grind. Don't really feel like I'd ever pay 50 dollars for multiplayer FPS in the future. Maybe I'm too old for them.

I'll 3rd that….this is by far my favourite FPS in as long as I can remember. I am only playing the MP aspect though as SP games aren't my thing.
Yeah, I'm fourth on that. Get on KZ multiplayer, should get an OzBargain crew ripping it up.
It's because the game is hard, much harder than your average FPS, and so many players think the game drags on too long because they end up dying 20 times in one chapter. I mean unlike other games, this one throws unlimited 16 AI enemy waves at you if you can't turn off the alarms; this is a game where enemies do the same damage as you and you barely have more health than them.
Still, I read reviews that called certain 'free-fall' parts, 'difficult' and 'instant death', now…I didn't die once in any of those sections, I thought those were the easiest part of the game, but if that constitutes as 'difficult', yeah that's pretty big commentary on what the common player expects out of a game.
Just hit the third mission tonight, damn they've stepped up the campaign in this game. The tension in the third mission is great!

killzone is rubbish. not even for $50. but as a gift maybe.
Both games have received very mixed reviews and I'll be waiting for the bargain bin for Killzone. Will give Knack a miss.
I'm astounded that some sites rate Ghosts higher than Killzone. One site I just saw on Meta rated it 50/100. That's pure BS sensationalism to get hits.
I'm passing on Knack as well though its mainly because I reckon it will be on Plus sooner or later and I have Killzone, BF4 + Premium, ACBF, FIFA 14, Resogun and that weird looking Plus game to keep me busy.
Contrast? It'd last you a few hours. If you're in no hurry wait for the patch. The devs said they submitted it and it should show up any time now. Fixes a lot of glitches apparently. It's also not an exclusive so if you want pcmasterrace-quality graphics you can always play on PC.
PC will never be master race in my home. I have a pretty good rig but it lives in my office rarely can I be bothered hooking it up to the plasma in there so it usually gets used with a 26" monitor. My PS4 however is sitting pretty in the front room under my new 60" LED :)

Anyone know how I could get Need for Speed for a similar price? (yes I know the deal is for those 2) I'm a tightass (so I belong here!) - but honest, I'm used to importing cheap games from OzGameShop, to me anything over $50 AUD is bloody expensive.

Have just purchased both. Can confirm no Click and Collect available, delivery only. Also cannot purchase both at the same time. Ie $54.93 each delivered ($109.86 for both). Still better than Amazon and any other deal you're likely to find.

I ordered Knack and Killzone last night. Knack is on its way but Killzone is "awaiting fulfilment". Hopefully it's just means a slight wait on Killzone.
I ordered a few days ago and my order of Killzone is also at "awaiting fulfillment". So does that mean that they probably out of stock and should ship soon? I was worried that would be some payment problem…
i'm not sure if Dick Smith does update their delivery status, I pre-order the killzone bundle in October, and it was sent out on Thursday from Sydney (overnight delivery) and arrived Monday for collection, as of right now (just checked) still says awaiting fulfillment even though i received my item.
I received my games on the 14th. I'm very happy about the prompt delivery. I checked the website's order status and it says completed.
