Found Series 3 of Game of Thrones available for half-price preorder on the BigW website.
$27.42 is certainly the cheapest you will find the Blu-ray at release.

I grant you it is a 2 month wait, but having preordered from them before, they generally send them before they stock the shelves so you should definitely have it on release day of Feb 19.

      Probably a bit difficult to find this one instore since its not released for 2 months!

      Thought it was worth its own post since its a preorder

      But I apologise if you are being presented with too many bargains and that's a problem for you

  I've already ordered the Blu-ray + DVD combo pack from Amazon. It's like a deluxe version. The standard aussie amaray release is rather lame compared to it.

  Amazon had season 2 for $30 for a few days after its release, and it never went that low again, as far as I know. Still, no guarantee they'd do it again, and this is still cheaper when you factor in postage. Pre-ordered.

  I preordered Smurfs 2 on 3d blu-ray as well for half price.

  I bought Monsters University in store this morning for $22 (down from $44) and then checked on line and it is $11. Took the movie back to the store and returned it and bought online instead.

    So you ordered an online pricing error mistake. You were perhaps better off keeping that Monsters University for $22 because that's indeed the correct 50% off price. There's a reason why the online blu-ray prices are all exactly half the price that the in store 50% off prices are scanning at because the online prices have been doubled in half twice by mistake. You possibly may not get that Monsters University. Oh well you may have just stuffed yourself up. Look at the All Blu-Ray 50% off @ Big W - One Day Only Sat Dec 7th + More thread on ozbargain and you'll notice that people have been getting emails from Big W saying the ordered item is a pricing error and offering the customer the option to buy at the correct price or a refund.

      Well if I don't get it, my life will not end! I got a heap of other ones so I really couldn't care less. I was just sharing my experience but far from "stuffed myself up".

  I purchased the Star wars box set this morning for $59.00 I checked online and the price was $29.95. Called the store Waverley Gardens and the manager said to bring the receipt in to offer refund of $30. So in effect got box set of Star Wars complete saga for $30 Ozbargained.

    Nice scam. Quote the store that has no clue an online pricing error and score. Those store managers who are price matching the online store prices are going to feel like right idiots when they hear about the online blu-ray pricing errors.
