I have no idea how good it is, but it washes in water and takes 2x AA so it might be a good one for those travelling so you don't have to deal with foreign power plugs.

Stainless steel 2 blade cutting system
Unique foil pattern captures hair growing in different directions
8000RPM powerful motor
Fully washable under running water for easy cleaning
Includes travel box and cleaning brush
Uses 2 x AA alkaline batteries (not included)

  • Good price but this thing is hopeless. Got one for free from dse but the quality is bad and it doesn't shave well.

  • lol also on their ebay site for the same price. Plus if you go via Ebay you will get 4x Velocity points until Xmas.

Can't feel that good on the skin?

Is it good for pubic hair? I hate shaving down under but the long hair irritate me.

    • too much info!!!

    • Safer than the razor blade…

What, 2 blades only? That's not going to cut it.

Phew, thanks for the advice, I almost bought it. That was a close shave.

  • Can you imagine people asking you in 20 years how your face got all messed up expecting some awesome war story and you have to tell them its from buying cheap shaver.

Its your face, spend more than 6 bucks.

      any 7 bucks shaver?

Wait for the sale to finish and buy it for $19.98 =D

  • I didn't even know foil grew whiskers!

  • I'm the sort of bloke who can't pull off facial hair.

    I use a razor instead.

  • Ordered one. I'll give a try for just $5.98 less 5% by using my discounted Wish Card.

  • Unbelievable! Bought one, have a try.

  • I'd be surprised if anyone is satisfied with the way it cuts.

Electric models at this price are for entertainment purposes only, in my opinion (frustration purposes). You'd get better value from dissecting it for parts, or simply spending the money on a non-motor razor.

Even bigger manufacturers like Panasonic make $14 models like this, though theirs is one blade. ( http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-ES3831K-Single-Travel-Shaver… ) to take care the AA travel shaver market. They aren't good at all, even though using AA batteries is far better than relying on a single LiIon cell that can't have its battery removed and swapped easily (especially as it ages).

This single blade one is great, I get a smooth shave (shave every 2 days) and using eneloops, it lasts for weeks. The shaver has lasted me for about two years now.

      • I found it extremely slow to shave with and even then it left me scruffy, so it is basically useless to me. I still have it and still love that it can take my eneloops, but for all practical reasons I can't get a good shave with it in a reasonable time.

I wish Panasonic would use AAs in their mainstream 3-blade and 4-blade models, with tool-less swappability of the batteries like this one.
