    The Penn Spinfisher combo is a far better deal. The reels have been made in China for years now but mine is still going strong after 5 years of surf fishing. Looks like the rod is a cheap boat rod and the gift pack is probably worthless, but the reel alone at $99 is still a good buy. Can't believe I'm giving BCF a +
