I followed up with a store in Victoria, seems that there are issues with the low stock volumes. Raincheck will be only option.

  Coles had a similar thing with their ducks. We got a raincheck, but the lady said it was pretty useless as its not a regular stocked item, and when the stock is their it goes fast.
  
  btw I bought one of these turkeys last year. Delicious, but takes forever to thaw. 3 days in the fridge and left out overnight, and it was still frozen in the middle.
