You sound like every other moronic hipster pledging allegiance to 'independent' fashion makers. The reality is these designs are extremely unoriginal. Not to mention Urban Outfitters aren't responsible for producing these 'thieved' designs, rather they merely buy the product in bulk from other 'independent' artists.

The whole notion is ridiculous, their only crime is pricing hideously ugly designs for far too much. Still, they have one of, if not the best American shipping rates (free over $50) without the exorbitant markups other U.S retailers charge Australians with some great deals from time to time.

But if you want to neglect them all because of some bland hipster designer making stupidly common products, go do that. All the more bargains for me, chump.

      • Hey, I said in my earlier comment. "kitschy shit"
Just because they are ripping off kitschy shit doesn't mean it should be supported.

As is a vague hipster duty, I do support buying from good designers — and fair point; I've yet to see a good designer be knocked off by UO
(and I'm pretty sure that all sufficiently good designer's take knockoffs as incomparable compliments, so…)

" their only crime is pricing hideously ugly designs for far too much"

        That'll do — you're right.
