Yup to get this deal you have to do the following:-
1) Gather all your family members (eg. 3), take a day off or you are already a dole bludger with no work. Reason: so you can grab a chair each at least one per person with the crowd. You can also max your potential of getting 4 x 4 = 16 chairs = 16 x 5 = $80 dollars only
2) Queue at ikea before shop opens minimum 30mins - 1 hour before. If you are keen you can do this overnight if security and car park allows with no parking limit. Otherwise park at the closest unmetered street
3) Make sure you rush in as quick as possible to the home furniture section and grab the chairs fighting with the horde, shove and push.
4) Good luck its a Stampede! It will only last max 5 mins
I don't think chairs are as popular as cutlery because they are harder to be sent as Xmas gifts XD

This special is available in all NSW/VIC/QLD Ikea stores.
At Springvale they have have a number of pallets of them stacked up near the checkouts.

Could the chairs used in wrestle mania be specially designed so that the chairs will give the effects (deformed) but not the damage to people's head?
The chairs they use in wrestling are usually made of low grade aluminium or steel Judging from the sound they make I'd say they're not plastic.
IKEA ones are pretty stiff and will probably break into sharp little bits if you break them. I don't think they're the same type.
