Register your eligible American Express® Card for Shop Small, and show support for the local businesses at the heart of your community.

The Shop Small movement runs throughout November, and between 23 & 30 November, you can get up to five $10 statement credits just by using your registered Card and spending $20 or more in one single transaction with five different participating shops, cafes, restaurants, and other small business locations.

  I used all 5 of mine. Only got credit so far from 2. Another 2 should be fine as I think I got emails for them, however 1 I spent at Musicians pro shop in brisbane, but on my amex account it has come up as "ALLANS MUSIC" even though there is no Allans music anymore in brisbane.

  After trying to use Amex on 2 different "small businesses" included in amex list in my area, and after I was told I can not use Amex in their shops and paid in cash instead, i used the amex contact form posted above in the comments to amke a complaint and today i got this reply:
  "Dear xxxxxx
  Thank you for supporting Shop Small.
   
  I am sorry to hear about your recent experience. 
   
  As a gesture of goodwill I will be happy to apply 2x $10.00 credits’ to your account. Statement credits usually take 5 days to appear but please allow up to 8 weeks.  Please note, the conditions of the Shop Small offer allow for a maximum of $50 (5 x $10 credits).   
   
  Thank you for your feedback and for supporting Shop Small.  I will ensure that our information is updated.

    Can you show me the link to email them please? I can't find it. I dined at 2 places listed in the website only to be told no Amex accepted.

    Wish it was that easy for me, I mentioned the same, 2 business's didnt accept AMEX so had to pay by cash (and they were on the list). They are checking it out now, wouldnt apply the credit until they investigate. And havent received a single credit for my other purchases yet, looks like AMEX will be getting phone calls again!
