Woolworths at Carlingford Court is clearing out their 250g cadbury chocolate (I think cadbury are reducing the size!!!) so they are selling them for $1.99. Not sure if this is at any other stores

Yeah this was clearance stock at some Woolworths stores. Only a few Woolworths across the country do 60% off clearance lines (in this instance $4.98 - 60% = $1.99), most do 40% or 20%, and some with good sales or low profits don't reduce at all.
Great deal… I'll check at a nearby Woolies, just up the P.H. road. :)
These clearances have happened recently at the big supermarkets (unfortunately if all the manufacturers are hiding price rises via reducing product size by 20%). :(
No luck at Thornleigh - all Cadbury 250g is $4.97!
Specials were restricted to a few others (Whitmores (?) 250g @ $3.49).
Nice find at Carlingford. :)its because cadbury now package the choolate in cardboard, not paper like before
And have shrunk the size by around 50 grams a block.
No luck @ Reservoir Safeway (VIC).
Neither at Auburn NSW, I paid $4.97 anyway :(
yeah I got it in carlingford a while back but wasn't sure i should post because i thought it was there only…meh I stocked up on my fugde brownies :D
Wow, they've downsized from 250gm to 200gm for no reason whatsoever. I won't be buying again.
