$3.24 900ml MORNING FRESH @Woolworths

350

This 900mL bottle half price special excites me as Morning Fresh is my dishwashing liquid of choice!! The price is fantastic considering Colesworths sells the 450mL bottle for for around $4 regular price. Starts this Wednesday 23 October, Ill be stocking up! I find no other liquid does the job as good as Morning Fresh, as long its not those imitation parallel imports Morning fresh you get at Reject Shop, and cheap variety stores.

  • 'Tis my fav too-

Shame they don't make this in Australia anymore :(

    (supplied from Indonesia)

    • Not only did they shift overseas they also shaved 100ml off the quantity. Used to be a 1 litre bottle.

Yup…that was done about 3 years ago now. I was shopping today and I also noticed Cold Power has been downsized too, the 1kg and 2kg packs have become 900g and 1.8kg. Without a downsize in price, must have been a recent thing as the unit cost displayed on the shelf was for a 2kg pack, which was on half price special, so I took it to the service desk and informed them of an incorrect price. Technically it scanned at the displayed shelf price of $7.49 but the unit price they had displayed was for 2kg quantity not 1.8kg, so I got a full refund.

have you noticed a change in performance from the australia to indonesia version?

      • None at all. But when I cheated once and bought a parallel import, it was SHIT

The oz/indo versions are very similar to me, but agree the parallel ones are hopeless.

We have switched to Palmolive. We noticed the Morning Fresh does not seem to have the bubbly, thick characteristics it once had.

If you want a large consistency washing detergent, which is relatively cheap; try Trix

Edit: Same experience as these guys : http://www.productreview.com.au/p/morning-fresh-dishwashing-…

        • last time i used trix, i ended up with dry hands :(

will give palmolive a shot to see if its any better/worse for my use.

        • I don't remember the brand of the one I use, but I use one with anti-bacterial in it.

It works well but the reason I buy it is because of the sponge/scourer combo. I replace it every month or so (whenever it becomes tatty and bits start coming off), but if I don't use an anti-bacterial is will start smelling pretty rancid after two days and then it starts getting onto the plates.

I know it's unscientific but that's my experience. The AB ones make the sponge smell cleaner over time.

      • well imo I felt as if the cleaning action of these soaps have become less effective, don't know why but seems like I need much more quantity of soap to clean now … maybe its because of the shift … maybe not who knows =]

    • Shame they don't make this in Australia anymore :(

since when? my bottles bought earlier this year are made in australia

anyway, palmolive is better - more concentrated :)

supa iga has 50% off palmolive until tomorrow

  • Foodworks was offering them for $3.00 few months back. Not the cheapest I've seen but still a good deal.
