What do you mean?? Most of the rest of the world + many people here in OZ that play 'Soccer' often refer to it as Footy. "Soccer' is properly known as Football after all. Most of the world's 'footy' boots are made for the millions of people that play Soccer and most of the professional sportspeople playing all of the sporting codes wear boots originally designed for Soccer. Is it any wonder that Soccer boots are referred to as footy boots?
I love my AFL more than most (Carlton member for 20 yrs+, former rep player and involved with Junior AFL where my kids play) but seriously, apart from some rugby specific boots made for prop forwards etc, and maybe the asics lethal range, are there any of these kinds of boots not make originally for soccer?

Cheaper prices from the UK even without the code, try start, lovell etc. They have pairs for sale from 2-3 years ago for over $100 that I have already tossed in the charity bin (footy boots for underprivileged kids program)
