They are $8.50 for eVoucher. $1 booking fee only occurs if you book online. Otherwise there is no +$1 if you redeem at the cinema.
So technically the title was right in the first place.

if that really were true, you'd be posting here less often

    • +15

ahhh JV, you've done it again

    • Where is the duplicate post? I believe the one posted before this was for Event Cinemas.. not Village.

You should read the whole post.
It says it on the last line.

'This offer is valid at the following Village Cinemas Locations – Airport West, Century City, Coburg, Crown, Doncaster, Fountain Gate, Geelong, Jam Factory, Karingal, Knox, Morwell, Rivoli, Southland, Shepparton, Sunshine, Werribee, Eastlands, Glenorchy, Hobart, Launceston & Albury.'

Should have been easier to see, should have said not NSW, etc.

        • -1

It was easy to see… learn to read the terms and conditions.

Btw the ONLY Village Cinema in NSW is Albury.. So yes NSW is included.. http://villagecinemas.com.au/cinemas

so if u want NSW go to EVENT Cinema Ticket sale http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/117840

do your research and learn to read before posting comments like that.

Thanks but I posted that I couldn't see it because I couldn't see it. I hate having to do the extra work.

    Thanks grabbed a couple.

  • "Not valid for public holidays."… sad

  • +3

that "B/F" gave me something to think about this late in the night… kept staring at it for a minute but couldnt think what it would be if not boyfriend….lol… damn you "booking fee"…

    • +2

That's what I thought it was too.. $1 for a boyfriend? Or $1 to bring one with you?

      • Knew it was too good to be true. Damn it misleading title!

  • yeah i had to read through comments too to find out.

  • This voucher is not transferable or refundable and is not for re-sale.

Offer not valid for redemption via the mobile website. Vouchers are not valid for Gold Class, group bookings

Does this mean you can't go in a group? As in buy about 5 of these so you can have a movie night with friends? Can you only use it for yourself?

  • +1

from a quick google search looks like group booking means 20 people or more.

The amount of money they make from unused expired vouchers must be the difference between the price at the box office Vs. the voucher price…

  • they aint making any money out of us. we are ozbargainers.

  • sweet just bought 20 of them

  • it's a shame nothing in NSW

  • If you're with Telstra you can get these tickets for $10 any time including the booking fee.

  • These work on Saturdays after 5PM?

No mention in the T&C, may pick up a few because of this

  • If u are with Optus, they do Hoyts tickets for $10 too like Telstra does for event cinemas.. Optus n Telstra both have only one condition, u can't go between shows betn 5 pm n 12am. You can also buy for friends too. You can buy 10 per transaction … But you can do number of transaction …

    • Um, yes you can. You can get $10 Telstra tickets for any time except Saturdays after 5pm.

  • Just bought a few e-tickets. I suspect that there's a $3 surcharge for 3D. Not bad though. Still cheap. I was wondering if Young Detective Dee will be in every cinemas in Melbourne. Can't wait to see it.

  • Has anyone received their e-voucher?

  • Link now returns a HTTP 404 error, as does the link in the email offer from Village. Assumed expired.
