    No, second slowest. One step above standard. Highest speed is 1000x.
    I have a couple 1000x and they are fast.

  Wow, that would have made a great SSD replacement for a laptop IDE drive, back in the day.
  I wanted it for my Thinkpad X40, but they were too expensive.

    Most Pro Dslrs do as they are capable of much faster speeds than SD.

        There is and it is called CFast. version 2.0 was announced recently.
