CnetTechnology, as part of our weekly deals are doing %50 off heart rate monitor watches. Good for Cyclists and Joggers and general lovers of fitness or people just curious about how often their heart beats.
It comes with a wireless chest strap (a chest strap, that wirelessly communicates to the watch) that measures your heart rate, and uses the watch as a display screen with your heart rate etc. It also functions as a watch, with a stopwatch timer for self timing.

http://www.cnettech.com.au/Specials.aspxAnd our Tech guy will fix up the shipping to be a fixed rate of $5 to anywhere in Australia
EDIT: listed as $25 with free shipping for nowThanks rep. Cheers for the speedy reply and fixing.
'Sall good! It's still got some fixes to go, but if you come across any problems just ignore them as I'm taking every sale manually and adjusting it to be what we promise until the tech guys automate it.
@Rep - could you put direct links to your heart monitor watches

Can you offer a deal that includes delivery?
Sorry, I messed up the links while writing it up. Thanks for that. We're changing it to $5 delivery fee anywhere in Oz
Delivery is NOT free for other items if buy together with the watch + PayPal or credit card charges.
Hi Zhen, yeah the guys are working on changing how the shipping works, but we got in this morning and saw your order still had shipping on it for some reason, so I'm actually just removing the shipping manually for now until the tech guys change that on the system.
Hi Rep, can you do comband shipping with discount?
Hi Zhen. The idea was/is that it's $20 to pick up, and only a $5 delivery fee (flat rate for 1 and 2 watches). The tech guys who handle the website didn't have time to change it in the system last night, so they'll do that today. The boss just changed the set price on the site for now and I'm doing all the adjusting manually for each purchase today.
Your order is here though, and you'll only get charged $20 per watch, and $5 for total shipping. It's gotta be pretty annoying on your end though seeing all the discrepancies, sorry if that was a pain.
How accurate is the calories burned function on the watch?
It's fairly accurate. This'd be like an intermediate level kinda watch, as would be the calorie burn function. Good for the joggers and work cyclists and general/intermediate fitness types. If you were training up for a sport season or going for an elite cyclist group you may try for the next grade up of fitness watch, more expensive but more detail for those who really need the pinpoint accuracy.
Harvey Norman have them for around $40 and there was one review on their website:
http://www.harveynorman.com.au/navig8r-heart-rate-monitor-sp…I picked one of these up. Have put it on and when I press the HR button (top left), I get the flashing heart symbol and HR is reported no probs. But in the exercise Mode (EXRCS), when I start the timer and switch the view to heart rate (after Kcal and fat burned), it only ever shows 0. This is just sitting at my desk (HR 50-60). Back to HR mode and heart rate is displayed fine. Any ideas?
That doesn't sound to great at all.
I'm assuming you've done all of this with the chest strap and all, considering you have a fine heart rate reading outside of exercise mode.
Personally I only know as much as a store selling the product, which is not enough to go into the technical side. But they advise if anyone is having issues with their product to email [email protected] That would seem to be the most direct approach to solving a problem, following that if they have no solution, just email myself at [email protected] , if they have no solution as we do refunds for products that don't work as described.
I have had trouble getting it to show heart rate continually. Also on a trial, saw rates up to 130 in between cutting in and out. On return it showed 88 as top rate low rate and average.
Hi DavRo,
I'll say the same as what I said in the comment above, as both your situations are similar. Copy and paste time!

Hi Cnettech
Thanks for that. Sometimes when these problems are brought up there are people on here that quickly give hints that put you right. I will have a read of the manual again just in case there is something I have missed then email support as you have suggested.
