    Beautiful dial, but hardlex in an expensive LE is a no no though.

    If you're looking for a dress watch and have a budget of $500, you're better off getting the Hamilton thinline jazzmaster from Ashford.

      I mean yeah the bracelet is worth a bit but the RRP on the normal ones is silly as well. Just paying for the dial and hands on all of these. I agree they should make the LE a bit more special with sapphire. Guess they want to keep their sharp edge and king Seiko range a big step up (which they are in price haha)

          I had a scratch on my Seiko 5 green dial within a week of owning it. Not ideal when you're buying a LE watch at that rrp.

          Cheaper aliexpress watches have sapphire glasses. Surely Seiko can do it on all their watches.

            @itsmoe: Yeah not ideal butjust have to be more careful with your stuff. Hardlex is better for diving (scratch not shatter), but yeah plenty of options around.
