    Is the DLink 826L any good? I tried to google it out and found some information..but unfortunately i am not that IT savvy to understand the information :-(

      It is dual band n600, so for most applications it will be quite good. The firmware seems stable, though it doesn't support 3rd party firmware like dd-wrt so that is a small downside.

      Realistically for the price you will be hard pressed to find a better option, especially if you plan to use the gigabit switch. A 5 port Gigabit switch is actually not much cheaper by itself.

    Thanks for this OP - just helped a friend purchase the Samsung Series 5 50inch F5500 LED TV (UA50F5500AM) for $997.19 delivered - a lot better than Appliances Online for $1,129 or the Good Guys for $1,279!
    Oh, and she also ordered a 16GB USB stick in there to boot :)

    Probably just a coincidence but just sent back for RMA this week the Verbatim 16gb USB3 drive and the D-link DIR-825 Router, both bought separately from Flingshot a couple of months back.
    The cost of posting them back to the manufacturers negated the great deal I thought I got.

      For the DIR825,it's not of Flingshot. I bought one from Flingshot and had made 2 RMA to Dlink. Cross fingers for this 3rd 8(

          That is really strange, we have a lot of people who use hotmail with account obviously do it must be either a bug that is really new or something with your browser. Absolute worst case you can do guest checkout.
