    Too many OZBers on that "you gotta spend money to save money" mentality tonight haha. If you don't need the phone save yourself $432 and just don't buy it instead of feeling guilty and having to explain to the missus.

        I would have to admit I only used those for like 3 days than turned them off lol, they drain the battery and not very functional..

          How's the eye scroll thing? Do you use that feature or is it just a big hype?

          Kinda like the screen on my G15 keyboard, I forgot it's even there, but got it cause of the hype!

          I have eye tracking on my galaxy note tab which claims to keep the screen on as long as you keep looking at it. It can NEVER recognise my eyes and always turns off in 30 sec if I'm reading a big paragraph. So I set the screen to never turn off unless I press the power button.

          I imagine this would track your eyes just as poorly. And from the first moment I saw the feature info videos about the S4, I knew most of those "convenience" features like air finger touching, would just fail big time. But hey - at least they're trying to innovate. One day that stuff might work.

          its a gimmick! one would think its still in prototype stage lol, I mean u would have to vertically hold it right in front of your face in a well lit area and move your head up or down slowly so it can catch your movements, it works when u move your head up and down lolz

    Will the nexus 5 be better than this? And what this about a google rom? If I use that rom will it be like a nexus phone and get all the latest android updates? I only really looking for an lte phone but I like pure android experience, will this offer that or stuck with Samsung touchwhiz?

      look at it this way, nexus 4 wasn't better than s3 hardware wise so I don't think that nexus 5 will be better than the s4.. at this price don't think twice!

    My gut is telling me that this is a pricing error, but this s4 is the only phone on the Kogan website with it's price slashed in RED and a banner saying "ON SALE!!!" I guess we will all find out tomorrow.

      I think it's legit…

      1) It would've been fixed by now if it was an error, Kogan wouldn't have let it go on for that long
      2) What a coincidence, it's just before the Apple convention!

        Still doesnt make sense why they havent discounted it @ the Kogan US store

        Seems more logical to clear item/generating high sales from USA (Due to its population) before the Apple convention as it happens in USA too. It would also bring more attention to press and pressure apple to re-evaluate their pricing before launch

        It's definitely a pricing error. Cause the email they sent stated the sale price was $598… It's no surprise they haven't updated it yet, just like the mugs they had before which they only found out it was a price error the next morning. The S4 is still ~$500-600 everywhere else so why is it only Kogan? Now it's just a matter of seeing whether they are gonna honour it or not.

      The link you posted talks about i9506. The one mentioned on this thread is i9505. Also, the i9505 comes with Snapdragon 600, not Snapdragon 800.

      In everyday use, the Nexus 4 feels snappier in every way.

      I would still take a N4 over this. The only real downside is the camer on the N4 sucks big time. Otherwise, N4 is better IMO. Obviously some might disagree.

      With 300 contacts , it takes about 2 secs for my S4 to open up the contacts app. The N4 is instant.

          Obviously you can root and install Cyanogenmod or AOKP or PA or one of those but in my experience you NEVER get the stabilty required for a daily driver.

          Saying that, I am running Paranoid Android on my N4 and am loving it. Maybe the AOSP S4 roms are better….i havent been game to try.

          Its an S4, just use the Google Edition Rom, its sold with some versions of the phone so its going to be stable.

          Also I've been using AOSP on my S3 for ages now and it's been completely stable.
