  • Not "delivered".
    I get $611.99 delivered.

    • yes. $611.99 delivered. same as my end

  • Delivery $22.99

    Standard delivery
    Postcode 2000

  • Same here for delivery. Also be aware it's 2-3 week lead time for delivery. Still an awesome deal though.

  • $589 + Delivery . It said in the website.

  • Is the delivered price the best going at the moment? My S3 is in a fatal bootloop. I really want something else other than a Samsung now but figure I am used to the brand.

      • Thanks my friend. Tried it all. Did the Kies approach. Then the Odin approach. All new firmware loaded fine. Still in a loop. 14 month old phone. S4 should keep me out of mischief for another 14 months I suppose!

        • That's unfortunate I got into the boot loop after rooting my S3 but got out of it by going into the recovery mode and clearing cache and resetting everything. Annoying but it did the trick.

But don't let that stop you getting an S4 :) any excuse is good. Or the Note 3.

        • 2 months out of warranty on a new phone? That sucks :(

        • Aussie warranty is 2 years.

        • Does Samsung warranty cover badly flashed firmware?

I doubt they will, if not many people wouldn't be afraid to brick their phones.

Anyway, find someone who can do a JTAG flash, should take you out of your boot loop. Shouldn't cost much.

        • Nah not unless you can reset the flash counter.

Probably a sign that the Note 3 is coming.

    • -1

Or a sign that the new iPhone will be announced at 3am tomorrow morning so Galaxy S4 sales will take a hit.

      • Nope, part of Kogan's 24 hour deals every now and then. They had it for the same price and free shipping couple of month ago.

Good price. Their warranty is quite good. I recently claimed warranty on a 9 month old S3 which suddenly stopped working.

I sent them a couple of emails, they asked for some photos of the phone, I took some photos sent and emailed it to them. Soon after, they sent me a packing slip for postage to their Australian outlet/office. Within a matter of days I received notification that a new phone was on it's way. And then within the next week, the new replacement phone arrived.

    • My warranty claim experience was very different. The phone stopped working and wouldn't turn on, which I clearly explained in my initial contact. They asked me to do a software reset. I asked them how do I do a software reset if it won't turn on?

They asked me to send photos and a VIDEO of the problem. I asked them if they seriously wanted me to send them a video of a switched off telephone. I sent them some generic photos of the phone I found on the web. They replied that no, they didn't really need a video of a switched off telephone after all.

They said they'd send me a packing slip, but didn't. I chased them up and finally got it, then sent my phone. They received it and said it would take them 3 weeks to look at it.

I told them I was going overseas in a week, could they possibly expedite it (I mean after all, it was a brick, not as if there was anything they could do to it) before I went overseas? They replied that they couldn't send it overseas, even though I didn't ask them to send it overseas.

Any interaction took 2 days for a response. Yes, they (finally) replaced my phone but it took a month and more hassle than it should have. Next time I'll pay more and deal with a brick and mortar shop.

  • Is there any S4 with GST included for less than around $680?

  • Does anyone actually ever buy these deals? I can't justify $500+ on a brand new phone

    • They wouldn't be selling them everywhere if people weren't buying them!

Maybe one day we'll both have enough disposable income to make the most of these sorts of deals =)

How is your brick phone from 1998 going?

      • -5

Nexus 4 was made in 1998? cool as.

Maybe that was your birth year too, like your jokes.

    • This phone is only for the cool kids

    • +3

Why can't you justify it? If you use it every day, make calls and it serves you well (GPS, MP3, Camera, Note taker, Calendar, Reminders, etc) - $500 is pretty sweet for all a smartphone can do.

  • $624.48 delivered for the 9505 (Octa Core variant) with 18 month warranty and 2-3 days shipping at cameraparadise.com.

  • I picked up the S4 Active from HN for $688.
You take a hit on the camera quality, but I'm uber impressed with it.
Feels firmer in the hand, like the different type of display, and did my first dunk test last night and it didn't skip a beat.

    • +2

Isn't it kinda lame, they target the S4 Active for active/adventurous people that will likely be using the phone in rugged conditions.

Yet, in those situations having a camera is important too for the scenery! What were they thinking when they downgraded the camera?!

  • +7

Was $599 delivered previously and it gets more votes now for being more expensive. What gives?

    • Not to mention you had the choice of the white model as well.

    • 599 sounds bigger…scares people off.

  • Isn't Australian Warranty 2 years? Assuming Australian warranty means Australian stock.

Edit: This is Kogan warranty. Not Australian/Samsung warranty!

  • You guys should've gotten this deal for $599 delivered with 32gb memory card

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/115632

I believe it's a grey import, but they give you a tax invoice for claiming TRS?

  • Even though this is a great price I'm waiting for the 32gb version to come back in stock.
    Can't see the sense in "upgrading" my 32gb S3 to a 16gb S4.

    • If you can easily upgrade the storage via a memory card, isn't it a no brainer to just go for the 16gb? :S

  • I know Kogan is a grey import and if i bought this phone and there's something wrong with it can I take it to Samsung shop in Sydney and do the warranty over there or do i have to take it back to kogan delivered to them??

    • back to Kogan. Samsung Australia wont touch it.

  • Not a good deal anymore when other store selling it $10 cheaper plus a free 32G microSD card.

  • +5

only 400, the price is changed, very cheap
    lol

  • +2

  • Is there no option have it shipped express?? I can't seem to find it anywhere for the phone??

  • +1

What a deal! Just bought one shipped for $430!

  • +4

How spewing would you be if you just bought it at the header price.

  • +1

    Cheap popularity Stunt by Kogan

  • F**K Kogan, nice stunt with S4 to get an email for incorrect price. they will never get my business again

  • did anyone else get an email saying they cancelled their order due to pricing error?

  • Good marketing strategy…….cheap popularity….
customer Trust on company is important but here kogan lost customer trust ……..
