OW have only dropped their price to match AP http://www.lasoo.com.au/offer/landline-telephones/uniden-dec…
the problem is the phone don't use the standard AA/AAA size batteries….
do any of these types of phones use standard/replaceable batteries?
i assumed they all use rechargeable ni-cad or ni-mh or something. all of which hold charge poorly after a few years.
ideally the best would be built in rechargeable li-ion.
Most Uniden models use replaceable batteries that cost about $10 for 3, posted, on eBay.
Yep, I replaced mine recently. They were $6 for a set of two batteries. They were quickly sent too.
Picked up a set on last weeks deal, very happy and terrific price, can't go wrong…
same as post office a few days ago
guess they were getting too many price matches
