Meh, it's $1 more than the normal ticket price for better seating and unlimited drinks/popcorn.. I wouldn't pay the full price but it's not bad for $20
wait, unlimited drinks and popcorn?
Yup, you get cups that you can refill as much as you want. They aren't that big, but every time i've asked for extras they've always let me, saves coming out of the cinema during the movie.
Pffft, asking…I take five cups of popcorn and three drinks in with me at the start. I get some funny looks, but it's free, and no-one has ever told me I can't or shouldn't. Always plenty left for everyone else too.
La Premiere near me has I think 4 cinemas and 1 of them isn't above a normal cinema, it's awesome!
Same with Carousel WA - we saw Gatsby in a La Prem-exclusive cinema, very nice
That's the cinema I was referring to ;0)
rebakram is right. village gold class is on another class (pun intended). not really worth it for 20 considering normal prices are 10 on optus
Exactly, why pay $20 for Le Premiere when Gold Class is currently $19… (Althought I had no idea about the popcorn and drinks which do make up for it a bit).
someone confirm for me but i think La Premiere gives you free popcorn and drinks while Gold Class is similar seating arrangements but instead of FREE popcorn/drinks they offer a dinner service with some pretty highly priced meals. Don't know what they're thinking - if I wanted a nice meal I'd just go eat at a restaurant beforehand… lol
When you can't get Gold Class for $19 (ie outside of Victoria and TAS)
La Prem offers those sorts of drinks and food as well
I went to a La Premiere session in the entertainment quarter years ago, and the huge balcony blocked my view of the screen. I had to lean forward out of the comfy seat to watch the film. It was terrible.
Not sure if it's still like that, but I've been put off la premiere ever since. Gold class is really good, though. Love getting cheap tix to that!
I just brought 2 and they dont expire until Feb 28 2014 so a lot longer then the 3 months stated in there T&C's
Why pay more for la premier, it's just sitting in a balcony above normal cinema goers. The chairs are slightly better than normal cinemas but not Gold Class quality and your sat at the very back of the cinema.
Pay more to sit in the nosebleeds and watch a movie? Why?
