  • Solid price. Could daisy chain them around the entire house.

  • I am a big fan of these. Time for a couple more.

  • Not as good a deal as when they were around $11 each a few months ago but they are a nice power board that seem to be well constructed.

  • Got it for $1 last time round

  • Something doesn't add up.

Last time, it was $11.98, save $8 (original price $19.98). This time, its $19.98, save $15 (original price $34.98).
Is DS doing deals by first inflating the prices?

  • Just a dumb question, would one of these help eliminate a humming noise through my home theater system?

    • Its possible but humming could caused by many factors.
You could try isolating any power adapters to different loops. Ie run a long extension from somewhere not on the same fuse.
Check all grounds with a plug tester.
      Check speaker wire polarites.

  • Isn't this the everyday price?

  • This is NOT the everyday price. Particularly including free shipping.

DSE have stocked these for at least 5 years. They are generally $34.97 or above.

Yes they have been reduced from time to time.

But this is well below the normal retail price…

  • 1,675 Joule is not a lot of protection/
The $10 Crest one above is double that.

  • Hey guys, does anyone know why this unit has input and output for phone/ADSL line and TV coaxial cable socket? Why are these necessary?

    • To protect against spikes on the phone or coax line?

      • OK, makes sense. I didn't know that was a big deal.

  • Is 1,675 Joule protection good? It seems a bit on the low side.
