i know there are better value deals for J1 and V1 with twin lenses, but for someone who only wants a decent range like J1, this is obviously a bargain ;)

        Depends on your type of photography. For general shooting, not necessary unless you need the extra reach. Use your feet to get closer to your subject and save the money.
