yes, the coupon code makes it $998.
Looks pretty, dedicated graphics is good, but the usual 1366x768 screen kills it for me, especially at that price.
2.56kg is also on the heavy side for a no-optical notebook, but if you believe the dimensions given, the whopping 8cm thickness might explain that…
Those dimensions are rubbish…
Dimensions (W x D x H)
37.95 x 25.07 x 2.99 cm
Really crappy screen res (1366x768) for a $1000 15.6in laptop
I am in the market for a fhd laptop, can you recommend me a fhd laptop for under $1000? The only one I found that was close enough to this deal was the toshiba p50t-ac01 from jb couple weeks ago for 1.2k and that was it
There is this Dell for around $900
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Inspiron-7520-15-6-FULL-HD-i…Of course it is not a 4th gen but the cpu is good enough.
Thanks
How about a Dell Inspiron 15r for just under 1k http://www.dell.com/au/p/inspiron-15r-se-7520/fs
Too bad it isn't a Haswell processor
The processor is a Haswell - Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ is 4th gen Core i7.
PROCESSOR 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM processor (6M Cache, up to 3.2 GHz)
Gotcha, I was looking at the HP specs not the Dell…
The HP I listed is HAswell and it is a Core i7 notebook, I have not seen a touch screen Haswell Notebook with dedicated graphics for less than $1000. All these other posts are third Gen processors. Plus this is an Envy notebook, they look and feel sensational.
Looks like you can't have 4th gen + fhd for under 1k, well not yet
there are some here
none of those are full HD
ahh, sorry, missed the fhd bit. Also that was from the US site :(
That'd be the 15-j017TX - around $1300 currently according to staticice.com.au
Says Full HD, but it's not 1080p…
This promotion has now ended.
They are willing to pricematch vs. MSY though.
Link says it is $1283 does the coupon code reduce it?
