Discount is applied to the base fare, taxes and airline surcharges. Discount is not applied to any other fees or charges. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Discount is applied automatically at the time of booking after entering the promo code in the Book a Flight screen in the full website version. All fares are for instant purchase and subject to availability and may vary until ticketed and are for economy or business class travel. Seats are limited and may not be available at peak times or on all flights. Fares are correct as at 19 August 2013 and are subject to change. Fares are one way on the internet, or $35 more when booked by phone. Change/cancel fees apply. The applicable change or cancel fee will be the fee published on our website on the date you request the change. Name changes and refunds are not permitted. A Booking and Service fee of $7.70 per person per booking is applicable for all flights within Australia when paid by credit card or debit card. Checked baggage allowance is not included in Saver Lite fares. This is a bit misleading. They say "up to 30% off" and yet there is no explanation of what the discount is in any particular case. I just did a search with / without the promo code for one date and my saving was 4.5%.
The discount is of course better than nothing, but I bet people who don't check both with and without the code will be thinking they're getting 30% off.
