CONFIRMED PRICING ERROR. Expect order cancellation and refund.

Feel like this might be a pricing error, but I've successfully put an order through. $10.14 if you use paypal.

Seems to be only Xbox 360 - sorry PS3 folks!

Heard some negative responses about fishpond before, however my experiences have so far been good.

    This was for Dead Pool. Apparently if I dont give them my bank details they wont refund my money and it will go into my FishPond account (I paid via PayPal). Already lodged a dispute, im not going to let them hold onto my money for interest.

      Can they do that if you pay by paypal? I thought it just goes back into you paypal account.

      EDIT: I just read that you only need to provide bank detail if you paid by bank transfer or cheque. Does not say anything about doing this if paid with Paypal.

      When we ordered it they were in stock and you have also taken our money in term of consumer rights here you have to honour the deal and provide the good and ship it ASAP.

      Most of us may not mine the delay but you still have to provide it.

          The difference is Officeworks in IN AUSTRALIA. Fishpond IS IN NEW ZEALAND. Our laws don't apply to them for this simply reason, urgo complaining about consumer law is irrelevant. They might as well be doing business from the moon.

          As for Ubisoft (and Officeworks for that matter), a business can make a call on if they honour it based on business risk, ie loss of customers etc, but they don't have a legal duty to do so. Fishpond have decided that for them it is best to risk manage the problem by not selling the game to people at a huge loss and issuing a store credit.

          Now if you can be bothered finding NZ consumer laws that state they MUST supply it then great.

          new Zealand gave up enforcing their consumer laws for Australians years ago - trans tasman agreements are worthless unless you go to court - more and more shonky retailers now operating out of sealand cause they need the jobs……….

        I'm wondering the same thing. Have a $10 fishpond credit in my account but email doesn't mention a refund… If I don't hear anything soon I'll lodge PayPal dispute. Fair enough for canceling orders based on a price error, but when you get an email saying the shipment will be delayed BEFORE you get an email cancelation you assume that they are going to be shipping your order…

    I believe it will be credit on top of the refund because the amount is $10, which is not the exact purchase price of the games.

      It is not possible you must have some in stock.

      If you didn't ship any you should just tell us the true you have price error and you don't want to sell us for $9.99 instead of saying order delayed.

    Yes, I think it's likely refund plus $10 credit.

    If so, fair enough. $10 Credit is a nice enough way to say "sorry for getting your hopes up and wasting your time".

        That's what I was thinking too actually… Hard to say what the conversion rate of points to dollars will be when that changes over on Xbox Live tho, you would have to assume equal or better value. Maybe a good time to stock up?

    Got cancelled, refunded and account credit emails for all the games I had ordered except one. We shall wait and see what happens to that one.

    On the refund front, I have checked my account and the refunds have already been credited to me(I'm with NAB)

    This experience has not soured my opinion of Fishpond in fact quite the opposite. Every retailer buggers up prices now and then, it's how they follow that up with customers.

    Quite decent service with the feedback here, swift refunds and fishpond credit considering how obvious it was that these games were mispriced.

      Mine has gone through with paypal but hasn't arrived in my bank yet. If you paid via paypal then check your account because it normally takes around 3 days to go through to your bank account once the refund has been given. Hopefully your money will go through early next week.
