Just visited my local Big W (Mt Hutton), and was just browsing, when I saw this for $10. Saves writing stuff in with the controller or having a full size keyboard. Had a look around online and most places sell them for around $40. Was in the lockup cabinet with the consoles.
Cheers.

I'd have to agree. I bought one on release day years ago and used it probably for a week before giving up. As well as the fact that it needs to be charged too.
Using it as a "trackpad" never quite worked for me. Good price though.
bought a mini bluetooth keyboard from ebay (smaller than an iphone in size)
only cost ~$3 and has worked fine. lasts a long time after charging too.Could you provide a link? I need one for my HDMI Android dongle (MK808)
Yeah link please. I don't see anything that cheap.
this is the same product

but back when i got mine, a few sellers were doing heaps of 99c auctions and i got mine for about $3there dont seem to be any auctions nowadays, only buy-it-now for $8+
The logitech k400 models work fine too.
It seemed good in theory but is quite rubbish to use. Better to pair an actual bluetooth keyboard. Even at $10 you'll hardly use it.
Up-voted for a great price on this but I agree with the general comments here - the placement of this attachment on top/above the controller makes it difficult to use as you need to essentially reposition your hands to use it 'comfortably' (even then it's awkward). For infrequent use it's ok.
If anyone is considering getting this for use with a PS3 controller on PC I'd instead recommend an XBOX pad with the chatpad attatchment (and associated unofficial drivers which can be found via Google).

Freight from about $4.00Could I hook this up with my HDMI Anroid dongle from DX?
I think I tried this once but couldn't find a way to sync it.
To be honest I used my one for about a week and then gave up on it, they are too much hassle, you need a light on at night to use it and they made the controller feel a bit too bulky and look retarded.
