Zazz.com.au is selling a REFURBISHED Dell desktop box for $160 (Ubuntu preinstalled). The XP version will set you back an extra $80.
According to Zazz there are scuff marks on the case.

Perfect if you need a low end workstation, file server, HTPC, or just need a Linux test bed to play around with, for less than $200 delivered!

Shipping cost for one machine is $19.95.
You may buy additional computers, up to three, with the price reducing $9.95 (including freight) for the second and third machines.

  This is a reasonable deal which is a shame I missed out on it as a friend wanted an extremely simple desktop. Anyone know about this video game console offer they had on?

    Was a 80GB PS3 for $599.95 delivered.
    No games just the system.
    They sold a couple.
    If you want one, Zazz still might have some.

  BudgetPC.com.au (formerly Suntrom) have been selling refurbished PC's for years - currently have GX620's for $229 with Windows XP on http://budgetpc.com.au/index.php?orderby=product_price&DescO…

  This is their standard, every day price - not some special. With companies like this, I see no need to mark these with a positive, unless they beat BudgetPC.com.au by a reasonable amount. (Postage is of little concern, as these guys have a shop front easy to get to in SE Melbourne.
