Good deal, but you can get 225 free SMS from smsglobal.com.au using the code "ZERO". Been going for a while now too, so probably won't expire. :)

    • is it one time only for new user or can be used for existing user ?

      • I might be wrong, but I think you can enter the code when purchasing more credits if you're an existing customer.

  • It didnt double the SMS Credits as advertised

    • That has been fixed. Sorry about that! Check your account now, you should see 50 credits.

  • worked like a charm

thanks cove, still a happy customer :)

  • Glad to hear it. :)

  • Looks like a great freebie, Cove. :) Thumbs up!
    (Another happy customer, obviously)

  • I assume the 50 free sms will be added at a later date?

Or is it just the first 200 that get the SMS pack-1 + the double deal that get the free 50 sms?

    • And oops, it looks like a signed up with the FREESMS coupon twice to get the free sms-pack1, so now i have 99 messages… google autofilled the coupon in!

Cove, if you want to message me to get my account and remove that pack, let me know :P

        Keep them. :)

Serves me right for not enabling the "new customers only" option on the coupon. It's been fixed now. :)

      • I don't mean to spam comments either, but do you guys have invisibleshield stock on hand? If they are, this free sms deal just made me order one of them ;)

        • No, we stopped stocking those a while ago! Sorry. :)

    • Hey mate. If you sign up for the SMS-Pack-1 using the order link from the website and the coupon FREESMS it should make the order $0.00 and will give you the 50 free SMS's which you can see by logging in to MyCOVE from http://www.cove.com.au

If you don't see it or are having problems please post on our forums at http://forums.cove.com.au so our staff can assist you. :)

    JUST A REMINDER TO EVERYONE!

If you use details during the account sign up process, the account will be canceled without warning! Thank you. :)

    • +1

Is that meant to say fake details?

      • Yes, sorry! If you use FAKE details (like an address of 123 ABC Street) we will cancel the account.

      • Double Post

      My apologies

  • This is not one of those "free sms" sites that subscribe you to all sorts of unwanted SMS spam is it?

    • Absolutely not. There are other free SMS offers we have done on OzBargains months ago and I am sure those users can back me up when I say that we don't do anything like that. The only "spam" you get from us is our monthly newsletter which is part of being a customer with us. :)

  • I took up the same offer up not so long ago,
The SMS service is great, not to mention cheap :-)

I would highly recommend cove to anyone, Have not had any problems from day 1 :-)

I've just been sent an email with an invoice for $5.00AUD even though I put in the coupon code! What the hell?

    • -3

If you clicked Validate and then logged in as an existing customer it will still try and charge you because the offer is only for new customers. :)

      • +3

Well in the description it says it's for OzBargain members and doesn't mention anything about new customers only.

    • Actually now I think I got charged the $5 as well (using my existing hosting account logon). You didn't mention anything about this deal being exclusive to new members, just Oz Bargain members?

  • Is the SMS-Pack prepay or contract?

    • Pre paid with an expiry on the credits.

  • I'd like to know that also. I just registered but dont know how this works. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • -3

i got banned from their system for no reason

    • We only canceled accounts that had false details in it. Is that you, Tom Jones?

      • lol. Where did that Tom Jones live? No.1 ABC Street?

        • Hey, don't mock my name and address!

          • @nemo1990: Wait a minute !!! I live there !!!

    cove sucks

  • +1

    Total ripoff
There was nothing to say that this offer was for new members only.
    I used the voucher code.
It showed a zero balance but they charged me $5.

    • +1

Yep, very misleading title and description.

    • The code will only work once per customer. If you are logging in as an existing customer then it won't work for you.

Solution? Create a new account and use it there.

Otherwise you should start paying for the service because you already know what it's like and how good it is, otherwise you wouldn't want MORE free credit! :)

If you got an invoice that you don't want to pay, just tell us, it's very simple. :)

  • -2

JUST because I am a nice person (and I didn't specify new customers only even though I thought it was obvious) if you send me an email to [email protected] with your invoice number I will clear the invoice for you and give you the free credit. But ONLY for orders placed before right now (2:15am).

    • +2

"even though I thought it was obvious"
      not really mate,

just to avoid confusion, can you please update your first post to state "For new customers to Cove.com.au only. If you are an existing customer it will cost $5"

      • +1

        Done!

    • I sent you an email as you suggested.
This afternoon my mother was taken to hospital with convulsions.
I used cove to send an email message to my wife and son.
      They never got the message.
The status on the messages is WAIT - Pending…
      Pending what I don't know.
      Thanks a bunch Cove

  • i've got 2 message pending for a couple of days
    no idea what's going on???

    • I found out it is because your mobile number must be in international format.
I switched mine and it now works.

  • I just sent a test message to myself and got it straight away, I'm guessing it depends on the load of the site maybe

  • No good if they can't guarantee they will get through.
Mine are still pending a week later.

  • Says "out of stock"
