    • Hopefully on Monday next week :D

  • I really like how the fruit swirl is mixed into the bottom of the tub and not just plonked on top

  • Finished already :(

  • These Chobani's are really popular at the moment. On special everywhere.

I don't believe it! Next you'll be telling me the french toast I had from the local cafe this morning wasn't really made in France.

Mate, you need to be flexible. You are receiving free product and still aren't happy.

Mate, you need to be flexible.

I buy this yogurt, but it's made in Dandenong.

It is 'Greek style yogurt', not 'Greek yogurt'…

you mean my peking duck dinner last night wasnt flown in via a time machine from China?

and can you buy Australian Champagne? No? I didn't think so…

The owner of Chobani isn't even Greek, he is Kurdish and born in Turkey.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamdi_Ulukaya

There is no way this can be Greek Yogurt, it's not made in Greece, it's not made by Greeks, it's not made with Greek ingredients…

It's a yogurt made in the Greek style, using Australian ingredients…

      • which greek yogurt do you think is the best?

        • Go to your local Greek deli and ask for some home made strained yogurt…

The ones in the supermarket don't come even close…

Chris's yogurt is probably my favorite though, followed by Chobani.

i like chobani yoghurt and this is free so it's a good deal, however i have to agree with jv here.
Chobani isn't Greek yoghurt and that's why the term "Greek yoghurt" on Chobani yoghurt has been banned in UK. Check out this article:
"You’re not Greek! Chobani handed UK ban on use of the term ‘Greek yogurt’
US Greek yogurt giant Chobani has been issued with a permanent injunction by the UK High Court that prevents its use of the term ‘Greek yogurt’ to market its yogurt range in England and Wales"

        • At least it has less food miles coming from Dandenong than Greece

        • food miles

Greece, like Australia, use the metric system.

        nobody cares

  • one of the handlers gave me 6 to bring for my workmates and i had the apple cinnamon one, it tasted kinda off.. and the yogurt looked flaky, didnt wanna risk finishing the rest of it… =\

    • +1

Mine a few months ago was full of mould, really couldn't be bothered since.

      • fermented fermented milk yucks

    • The apple cinammon one often goes like that. You can eat yoghurt way past it's use by date anyway. Probably not if it's mouldy though.

One thing to note though is that if you're allergic to penicillin, you could have a bad reaction to greek/natural yoghurts due the cultures included (there's lots of reports on the net about this).

    • it tasted kinda off.. and the yogurt looked flaky,

That's because you're probably used to eating yogurts that are over-processed and taste like sickly sweet custards. Real yogurt should have a sour taste and is often flaky.

  • I love this yoghurt but I've had a dodgy pack before too. It wasn't mouldy, but it was sort of "gassy" if that makes sense? It tasted like carbonated yoghurt. Now that I read the comments above, am even more reluctant to buy - seems their quality control isn't the best. I know you could go back and get a refund but a tub of yoghurt is not worth the trip.

    • It was probably left unrefridgerated at some stage.

I've seen supermarket staff take yogurts off shelves in isles where customers have left them, and returned them to the fridge section, not knowing how long they had been left away from the fridge…

  • I went there minutes ago and no sign of them.

    • They read my post and did a runner…

I guess the name Chobani Dandenong South Yogurt doesn't have the same marketing appeal…

  • Best yogurt In the world!!!" Chokes"

  • This yoghurt sucks. My tennis club had tons of free samples when this first came out, and I wouldn't eat it for free (after the first 1/2 a tub). Worst yoghurt I've ever had.
It's called Greek Yoghurt, but has either low fat, or no fat. Greek Yoghurt is usually higher in fat than normal yoghurts, not lower.
    The texture is like paste.
(I'm not the only one either).
