Managed to pick one up :)
First I went to JB hifi to see if they could beat DSE they said yes but only by $1 which is about cost price (so they reckon) then found out they didn't have stock.
So I told them don't worry about it I'll just buy a case and that DSE have one on hold for me anyway.I started looking at the cases then asked how much they could do the Samsung book cover case and he dropped it down to $35 from $49.95. Then he said he'll see if he can do a better price on the Note 8 but will have to wait for stock or pickup from the only store that has stock left. Came down to $365.
In the end I decided I couldn't wait for stock and if I drove to the store with stock would have used the savings on fuel getting there, plus DSE was kind enough to offer to hold it for me since it was there last one.
Anyways she's on charge now but thought I let everyone know that it is possible for JB Hifi to go down to $365
Best deal is still the recent Good Guys $100 store credit and free $129 rrp popcorn maker.
so why don't we have the official 3g/4g versions?
