Woolworths 17¢ Discount, Plus 4¢ Extra???? at The New Pakenham Store

80

Hi,

As you are probably aware, coles and woollies have .16c and .17c off per litre this week when you spend $100 or more in store, in a single transaction.

I was at Woolworths Pakenham, the new store, and spent over $100.

When I got the receipt, the discount was .21c

Not sure why or how. The only thing I can think of is they added the usual 4c to the offer of .17 .

Has anyone else experienced this?

Peter.

  • Bank error in your favour. Collect $0.21?

    • 21 cents per litre. When i top up my 70 litre tank, I normally put around 50 litres in. That adds up to a nice saving.
      Thanks for the heads up.

The price of fuel 'miraculously' went up in Brisbane from $1.38 to over $1.56/L as soon as Woolies and Coles started this campaign….

    • Agree, it's a rort.

    • Hmmm….it must be due to increase of oil price in our region or so they tell us. If you "donate" to liberal and labour parties, you gt away with murder and become untouchable. In other countries they call it bribe

      • And it just happens that the Liberals deregulate and sell off everything so these sort of events occur (unless their mining buddies are involved).

Fat load of good the Libs have done for public transport since they sold it off and with cars, it's the same misery with their introduction of tollways.

In Melbourne the petrol price hasn't increase in 22 days, it's fair to say the cycle was over due for a price rise.

Unbelievable LPG in Sydney has been hovering around 67.9 for months, suddenly its hovering just short of 80 cents???

NRMA stated an expected rise in LPG of 5-6 cents up to 70 cents a litre not an extra 15 cents
      http://m.mynrma.com.au/about/news/buy-now-prices-set-to-rise…

It is blatant price fixing that our governments are all gutless to address

Not all families can afford to spend $100 in one hit at Woolies or Coles!!!!

      • Can the vouchers be used for LPG?

  • Haha, bank error.

What else did you buy at the servo?
    17c + 4c (in-store above $5).

    Duplicate deal…

This is a receipt from woolworths not from the servo..

You should learn to read first before ya speak..

Is ACCC going to do something with this petrol price and Coles/Woolies/colesexpress/caltexwoolies?

Bloody monopoly…..they are turning Australia to become Malaysia, with increasing crime rate…everywhere….

    • This is why we should have supported the independents when we had the chance. Now we have duopolies, prices rise and we're at their mercy.

With people buying from the big two supermarkets over grocery stores and small businesses, it will likely get even worse in the future with consumables.

    • What's wrong with malaysia?

Shit country, but australia still not as shit as Malaysia, but turning to become like Malaysia, some and a lot of moron in malaysia, snatch woman bag, I think already happen in certain shopping centre car park in Australia, and wait until more, when they go to food court, to snatch from woman with baby with pram.
At that time you will know how shit Australia will become.

  • Whilst we're on the petrol topic, anyone know the best website to find the cheapest petrol in a area, and how they get the info. Are petrol stations obliged to provide info on petrol prices regularly ?

Motormouth / Fuel watch in WA. Woolies mobile app also lets you check individual prices in close to real time.

We all just have to learn how to play the game, its like with the telstra monopoly on the phones. I am now buying the sim packs and just register a new one each month. When they come on special at coles I can get them for $8 each, so $8/month for my phone. lol I'm sure they'll close that loophole eventually. These deals just try to fool you into spending more in the supermarket than you normally, won't work with me, but I'm always being told by others how they go into buy a bottle of milk and end up spending $50.
