    I have one of these… stay away - they are cheap but not particularly good steel or fit and finish.

      I have some

      • They get blunt very quickly
      • They get rust on them
      • The knife handles break and dont last long

        Agreed. Didn't know it had 10 year warranty though. just tossed mine when i got fed up of sharpening it.

    +$15 post. Says they sharper them self but doesn't say that in the description or look like it has a sharpener in the block.

    Sounds like the quality of Wiltshire stuff has dropped dramatically. I still have some Wiltshire stuff that's nearly thirty years old and it's as good as the day it was purchased, with regular almost daily use. Pity. They were pricey back then though, one knife probably cost about the same amount as this set.

      yes, i still remember the ones my parents used to buy, they were sold and excellent quality

      My mum still has original scissors from 20 years back and they are great and sharp

      yeah my family has a similarly aged set (maybe 25yrs?). they recently got a particularly expensive set of knives as a gift, so guess who got a freebie! the old ones are fantastic knives, so when i saw this deal i actually thought of buying it as a backup set. comments put me off though, clearly they've gone wrong somewhere along the line. cheaper production, by the looks of the price. pity indeed.
