    Check your Myer, voucher states cannot be combined with other promotion - and according to Carindale Myer a catalogue special is a promotion - meaning you won't get the 15% off the $1549. At best I was able to get 15% off the full price $1699 which still gets it down to $1444.15 which beats the catalogue price anyway.

    Still a good deal either way.

      Given Rick Hart are doing it for $1567, they should be able to price match, then -15% for Myer One discount. Can ask anyway. Still $1444.15 is a good deal.

    What your paying more for here is the bigger screen and beefy processor. All the other specs are pretty much standard on mid-range laptops these days, and you can find cheaper Acers/Dells with better graphics cards.

      NOTE: originally it was though this ASUS unit would cost $1317 ($1549-15%), so at that price would be a bargain. It was noted that Myer One does not apply to an already advertised product.. so editted it, rather than delete it.

      If you can find cheaper Acer/Dells with better cards than this, please highlight.
