    • Where do you enter the coupon code ?
I can't find it, is it due to me being on my phone ?

  • What's the brand? Did I miss something in the specs? Where do you get the Acer from?

  • No brand, get what you pay for but most of the reviews sound quite promising…
    Why am i tempted? I already have a TF300T…

  • good for the kids.

interestingly nearly all the reviews are written by 55+ year olds

    MUST FIGHT TEMPTATION,already have 3 X 9.7" android tablets.

    • That's obsession, not temptation.

  • I still feel compelled to plug the $69 7' tablet from Kmart

    • for Ages: 3+ years (looks like this is more aimed at the toy market)
      800 x 480 Resolution
      0.3 Mega Pixel Camera

      • What better use for a cheap tablet? http://i.imgur.com/e8uVtd1.jpg

        • i doubt this tablet will play Real Racing 3

hell, RR3 isnt even all that great on Tegra 2 and that runs rings about this

        • Yeah you can! Though its tricky trying to take a photo while playing

        • i only tried RR3 on my samsung 7,7 and it ran fine (well of course, its a $400 unit)

will try it again with an xbox controller and hdmi out

  • Antutu score for this CPU is around 2500
    It's a nobuy

    • Seems very laggy!

      • seems on par with older phones

i like how you hit a setting button and it takes a second for the menu to catch up

Got one of these the other day for $99 free shipping for the kids. It works but things like Youtube are awkward (thinks its a phone I think), and crash in browsers. They mention its an Aldi one on Whirlpool, but mine has "Ultima" brand stuck on the box.

On the up side battery life seems quite good from limited usage, screen is not too bad, has HDMI out (not tried though).

I am usually forgiving of low spec devices, but when you are worried that the next thing you do will lag or load slowly or boot you out (crashed the browser with nothing else open) its pretty awkward to use.

If its going to be used for basic stuff, its a great deal but if you expect smooth performance it might be worth looking into a dual core option.

Here is maybe a better deal. http://www.amazon.com/VivoTab-RT-TF600T-B1-GR-10-1-Inch-Tabl… Cannot post as only just joined. Have been long time lurker and "thought" it was time to post some deals. Some one might like to post this deal.

      $345???

  • that's a very good tablet for 345 bucks, awesome spec ,only issue for me would be windows 8 but thats a personal opinion.

  • Based on the reviews this model falls apart pretty easily. Do DealsDirect provide any sort of warranty on these items? I know they offer 12 months on NEW but this is not NEW but a reconditioned.
Also any clues on the model/manufacturer?

  • These refurbished products also come with 12 months warranty for your peace of mind. Statutory warranties/consumer guarantees also apply.

  • Expired at 9pm, I was about to get one too….
