      I watched it all recently, not on bluray but 720p. It's a bit different but the characters grow on you, I enjoyed it, the Serenity movie I did see on bluray and it tied up the story very well. I'm not sure about the comment below that suggests it's included in the firefly set, I would double check that because you definitely want the movie in my opinion.

        Serenity blu-ray is only $10.38 at JB HI-FI. Suggest maybe buying it there.

    Serenity is already included on the Firefly Complete blu-ray. It's actually the first two episodes on the disc. You buy the Firefly blu-ray then you've already got Serenity.

    All they've done on that separate Serenity release blu-ray is combine the two parts into one film. Same as how Paramount re-released that Star Trek Next Generation The Best of Both Worlds two episodes into one film.

      No, Serenity was the name of an episode (2 broadcast parts) but it's definitely not the movie.

        Yeah you're right i'm wrong. I got confused by the first two episodes of Firefly being called Serenity. Any how as i said Serenity blu-ray is only $10.38 at JB HI-FI. Good place to buy the movie.

      Whoa there!
      - are you sure that you're not getting confused by the fact that the first episode was called "Serenity" as well as the movie sequel?

      If you've not seen how it all ends up then you should do yourself a favour and get it.
      Then grab the comics to find out what happened in between (and the origins of Shepherd Book).
      It's all shiny.
