Funnily, I was looking for these yesterday so I know that they are real discounts (e.g. ATA was offering the RS2 at $525 last night).
Great phones. Cheap. Prices exactly on par with USA sellers but locally sold. yeay!

I have some allesandro ms 1 which I love but the lack of bass is the only thing holding me back from getting a higher end model.
I definitely would not expect them to be "bass-y" but then again I would expect all good high-end phones to not be bass-loaded but rather bass-accurate - nice, tight, sharp, bass. Will get to try mine soon and can compare to my current audio technica which are immensely pleasurable for jazz/classical but lacking a little…of what I am hoping to find in these for other styles of music.
I expect they would be more accurate than my ms 1s, but I would describe them as lacking bass, and have read that the sound signature is consistent through the range, I listen to a lot off electro, so it's just my taste.
