  • Q: Why pay more?
    A: Speed and reliability

Don't know about this one, but some are just painfully slow

    • lol win.

  • plus freight?

  • pick-up from store (like username01 did) and theres NO freight charge ;-)

  • this item is free pickup but centrecom have a nasty habit of charging different prices for anything not listed on their "instore pricelist" pdf.

    • At least in my local store (Bundoora - VIC) the website prices are what they charge. This has been the case since last year sometime.

I cannot guarantee that this is so for all their stores, however when I was told it seemed that this applied to the whole system.

      Ozzie

  • Acoustic noise: 0 dB @ 1 metre!

At least it's not one of those nasty, noisy usb sticks!!!

    • Well spotted…I know what you mean.

I also hate those cheap 110dB @ 20 metres sticks which are so common these days.

Makes the office environment very unpleasant, and of course every cube-farming, drama queen within cooee uses it as an excuse for a whinge-fest.

  • Who cares about noise? Where is read/write speed?

    • +1

Yep, pretty meaningless boasting about noise, weight, shock resistance, operate temperature for the flash memory.
No mention of read/write speed. May be too low?

  • Noise? Who gives a toss about noise?
Are you working in a nursing home or an office?

This does seem pretty dodgy not mentioning the read/write speed in the specs.

And the brand "RamBo" isn't any comfort either.
