The recent Sandisk Ultra USB deal prompted me to check if this 5 pack is in stock at a good price. It is. (ATL is $31.79)

From my quick research the Sandisk Ultra write/read performance is comparable to these.

    nice find!

Good drives. However, one out of the 5 from the pack was faulty and would not be recognised by the PC. Luckily Amazon refunded me the 5th of the price.

Just check all 5 once you receive them.

I have had 10 of these with no issues. Good value.

I had terrible experiences using Patriot micro SD cards. Kept corrupting in my Switch

    People still use USB sticks?

How do you give someone a bunch of photos or larger files? Please come and support my family members trying to share photos "I clicked on the chrome Safari"

Tongue in cheek …… but if im sharing photos of large files/things I use onedrive and google drive to share with family and freinds. Works well on mobiles too.

I feel your pain though haha

Still one of the most convenient ways to have bootable operating system images. People with HomeLab still actively use these.

Oh true forgot about installing OS.

    • I fill up a hdd or usb with video stuff for trips away.

      • Internet: 5Mbps up, USB3 drive: >800Mbps write
      • Also internet uses quota (if you have one)
      • Useful for those that don't trust cloud companies (e.g. privacy reasons).
      • Can be used to expand available space on low storage systems, since you can run programs directly off a USB
      • Not limited to 15GB of whatever amount the cloud provider gives you, or paying a subscription for more space
      • Various devices (e.g. scanners, older TVs etc) don't have network access, but can use a USB stick
      • Booting alternative OSes, updating BIOS as well as BIOS flashback
      • Fix/diagnose issues on PCs with a broken network

Plenty of uses for USB drives.

    128GB x5 for $51 is a great deal too.

    Dang, missed out!

    • they're around this price pretty often, stock levels just seem to be the constraint

  • Wait, your computers have usb a?

    • the drought in USB options seems to be a new laptop thing, my surface pro has 1x usb C and 1x usb A , think idea is i’d docked on sub C you have lots of ports if not docked you have A and C, wish desktops came with more usb C , always have lots of A. Apple
some apple macbooks don’t have A port’s anymore.

  • Shame that it is a mere shadow compared to the proper Supersonic Rage series, which looks exactly the same, is a proper full-fledged drive like the legendary Sandisk Extreme Pro (before SATA SSD's became cheap), performs much better, and was launched in 2015. Mine still works great, eventhough I loaded it up fully, using over 80% of the available space, and still works great eventhough it is almost 10 years old.

  • Dang, missed out!

Seems they just found some at the back of the shelf

  • No advertising speed in the description while some say 60 while some others say 120.

I dont trust Patriot as a brand. I bought a 256gb sd card and a few 64gb sd cards from Amazon. The 256gb and more than half of of the 64gb sd cards failed after 6 months. They are overly cheap for a reason.

  • The link takes to me to 32Gb not 64Gb?
