Myer were doing 15% off all laptops (ex Apple) for the past 2 weekends (Sydney City, Chatswood, Macquarie Centre been seen, discount was not store specific), so if it is going for $599, then it should be 509.15!! though I opted for a HP mini on the spot :P

There should be bigger better sales on for this model in the near future, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't ASUS say they'd cease production of 8.9" eeePC's? In which case these models are going to become excess shelf stock in the future. Bargains to be had if you're patient.
